We have just finished up an incredible week here at the church.  Our Hero Central VBS was a huge success!  What an incredible blessing it was to see the excitement and joy on the faces of all the children smiling and singing as they learned to be God's superhero and "do good, seek peace and go after it!"

Many volunteers have given of themselves to make this possible.  These volunteers helped with everything from teaching, to crafts, music, snacks, games, decorations, and organization.  Many thanks to each of you! We are so blessed with such a dedicated core of volunteers at New Creation.  This is what makes the church so wonderful; many people using their talents and gifts to reach out to our community to the honor and glory of God.  A special thank you to Heather Dreese for her leadership in making this week happen.

On Sunday we will continue our Superheroes theme as we look at the life of Moses. Moses is what we would call a reluctant hero. When God called on him to go to Pharoah and deliver the Israelites them from captivity in Egypt he made every excuse in the book. Moses trys to hide behind His inability but God tells Him that He will not call Him to something that He doesn't equip him for.

Join us this week in worship as see how God's strength is displayed through our weakness.
