Clear, mission-driven communication helps us live into our vision: a church where all are loved, community is built and new life is found. Our Communications Team partners with ministry leaders through a collaborative planning process to clarify purpose, audience and invitation. From print to digital channels, we steward each message with care and help ministries share meaningful opportunities that invite people to take their next step of faith.
Use the Communications Request Form to submit any requests for the Communications Team. All requests are reviewed on Mondays. This form only captures minimal information; most requests require a conversation between your team and the Communications Director before any material is produced. You should also schedule an appointment with the Communications Director to discuss your communications or media needs. We look forward to serving you and your ministry!
We are also launching the new Ministry Story Lead intake form below! This simple form helps you share stories of life change, service, and celebration happening across our church. Not every story needs a full event plan, but every story deserves to be told.
Here are additional resources to support your ministries here at New Creation. Contact the Communications Director if you need additional documents or support.
Communications 101 documents our processes and strategies for collecting information, designing materials, and publishing to the congregation and community.
The Strategic Planning Calendar is the backbone of our 6-3-1-1 Planning Schedule and includes major church seasons and events that we anticipate each year. The Communications Director will contact ministry leaders three (3) months prior to an anticipated event to begin the communications process. If your ministry needs to add a regular event to the calendar, please contact the Communications Director.
The Project Strategy Plan captures more details about an event and a ministry’s goals to drive decisions and directions for communicating with the congregation and community. This template must be developed along with the Communications Directors; teams should not use this form on their own.
Our Brand and Style Guide sets the guidelines for representing New Creation’s brand any print and digital media, including how our logos, colors, and fonts are used. The style guide includes background demographic research and direction for our written communications.
Ministry leaders must secure a media release form from adults and children when capturing individual moments and stories for communications.
For larger events, the Communications Director will provide larger disclosure signs informing guests of active photography/videography at New Creation.
Through several grants, New Creation’s ministries can have access to either Canva or Adobe Express. Please contact the Communications Director for access for your team.
