  • What can I expect at this event?

    Fun, Food and Fellowship as we grow our faith together! We are planning a social hour (beginning at 5:45 in the Fellowship Hall) to enjoy some delicious food, meet up with friends, and make new connections with other women in our community. We will have a wonderful program (beginning at 7pm in the Sanctuary) which includes a time of worship and then a time of teaching by our guest speaker, Jodie Berndt. There may be a few other surprises as well! Doors will open at 5:30pm. While it is a Ladies’ Night Out, no fancy attire is needed! Please dress comfortably. Dress up if you wish but know that business attire/pants/jeans are certainly acceptable.

  • Who should attend this event?

    This event is for all women looking to grow in their faith. It is a multi-generational event, and we anticipate most participants will be approximately age 25 and older. This event is not directed to any specific church denomination. We have invited other local churches in the Hampton Roads area to join us. Help us get the word out! Reach out to your family, friends and neighbors to extend an invitation for them to attend with you!

  • What is the cost of this event?

    Early bird pricing is $30 per person from October 1st to November 15th. Regular pricing is $35 per person from November 16th to January 5th.


    We recommend purchasing your ticket as soon as possible. We are planning for 300 women to attend. Please invite your family and friends to attend with you! Tickets also make great Christmas presents!

  • How do I purchase a ticket?

    Tickets are not actually paper tickets. Online registration is required. You can register by using the QR code on the Invite Card or through the Church Center app. If you need assistance, our registration team will be available in the Commons on Sunday mornings to assist you or you can contact us by email at womensevent@newcreationumc.org.

  • Can I purchase more than one ticket?

    You can purchase more than one ticket! We do ask you to provide the names of your guests. Their email addresses would be helpful, if available, but if not, they can provide that information at the check-in table the evening of the event.

  • Can I purchase a ticket at the door?

    No, registration ends January 5th, 2026.

  • Will there be a waiting list?

    Yes, there will be a waiting list if we fill all 300 available spaces. Please complete the registration form online. If all spaces are filled, you will have the option to be added to the waiting list.

  • Can I get a refund?

    Ticket sales are final, and no refunds will be given. However, tickets are transferable. Contact us by e-mail if you need to transfer your ticket to a friend or if you wish to donate to the next person on the waiting list.

  • Is there a special mission project affiliated with this event?

    New Creation UMC has a Food Pantry Ministry, and we assist approximately 50 families twice a month and additionally on holidays. We will collect monetary donations at our event. If you feel led to donate to this worthy cause, please do so at the registration table where a donation box will be available.

  • What happens if we have a weather event?

    If we have a weather event, we will make every effort to reschedule our event to another date.

  • Will books by our speaker be available for sale at the event?

    Yes, Jodie Berndt will have her books available for sale the night of our event. Be sure to bring cash or a credit card to purchase. There will also be time set aside for Jodie to sign your book. Check for details posted at the event for available times.

  • Will this event be livestreamed?

    We will not be livestreaming this event. Since this is a Ladies’ Night Out, we hope that you will join us in-person at New Creation UMC.

  • Is childcare available?

    No, childcare is not available at this event.

  • Can I find you on social media?
