Meet Our Pastor
In the United Methodist Church, pastors are appointed to a congregation by the bishop of the Annual Conference. Pastors serve in witness and service of Christ's love and justice. Elders are ordained to ordering the church after the example of Christ and to presiding over the Sacraments.
Rev. Randy Duncan
Pastor and Ordained Elder
Pastor Randy is a Chesapeake native and graduate of Western Branch High School. After answering the call to pastoral ministry, he completed a BA in History from Old Dominion University and a Masters of Divinity from Asbury Theological Seminary. Pastor Randy is an ordained elder in the Virginia Conference UMC.
Randy and his wife Robin, the Director of Choral Activities at Western Branch High School, are the proud parents of three grown sons; Robbie, Ricky, and Ryan, and grandparents to Riley Rey Duncan.

Lay Leaders are representatives of our congregation, working with the pastors to fulfill the mission and vision of the church. They serve as primary role models of Christian discipleship and faith lived out in the church and in the world.
